This one's not for the fainthearted! In case it's not clear, this is a blue jelly bean with ants on it. The background is a mixture of glitter and very finely grated jelly beans.And a bonus for those that are interested, a magnification of a portion of the above photo......

You GRATED some jelly beans! That sounds downright dangerous for the fingers!
But it was worth it. The effect and shininess with matching blue background, is wonderful! And the detail of the ants is great. Another wonderful idea.
How long did you have to wait for the ants to find it?
This is cool. I hope you shot this far from your house. You don't want them pesky ants around.

Wow, you sure know how to think outside the box :) I would never dream of grating jelly beans for a shot. Makes for a very pretty background. I noticed the ants aren't crowding each other, like they have personal space.. weird :)
I think this is one of your best pictures so far! Awesome shot. And what a detail, that second picture looks pretty crisp.

This is my favorite so far! At least it wasn't bees. I can't believe you grated jelly beans for this...That takes patience and coordination.
